I will assume you know what Femme Fatale means and if not - look it up
I adore and admire women that can claim Femme Fatale like Catherine Deneuve who is a true femme fatale, famous French film icon and beauty.

Catherine Deneuve was born in Paris, France in October 1943 - both of her parents were performers of the stage.  Deneuve made her movie debut as Catherine Dorleac in Les collégiennes (1957), She eventually took her mother's maiden name so she wouldn't be confused with her elder sister, Françoise Dorléac (also an actress).
Deneuve's breakthrough film was a musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) in which she gave a remarkable performance as a idealistic middle-class girl who falls in love with a young soldier but gets imprisoned in a loveless marriage with another man. In 1967, she played a schizophrenic killer in Roman Polanski's Repulsion (1965) and a married woman who works as a part-time prostitute every afternoon in Luis Buñuel's Belle de Jour (1967).

In the early 70's, Deneuve starred in Tristana (1970) and portrayed a Mississippi Mermaid (1969), her first foray into her "femme fatale" persona. Deneuve's memorable performance in Truffaut's The Last Metro - Le Dernier Metro (1980) as a stage actress in Nazi-occupied Parisian, revived her career after some not so memorable films.

Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger
In 1983, Deneuve starred in Tony Scott's modern American vampire story The Hunger (1983), a cult classic where she and David Bowie played to perfection a stylish vampire couple living in Manhattan. Deneuve is also famous for her captivating beauty and in the epic drama Indochine (1992), it was evident. She played an upper-class plantation owner who falls in love with a French naval officer in 1930s Vietnam. She garnered an Academy Award Nominaton for Best Actress. Since the 90's she has acted in many other films for more information on her filmography, click here.

Catherine Deneuve is famous for her beauty, her craft in film and as a femme fatale. Her approach to life seems to be very direct, artistic and sexstastic.

Catherine Deneuve Famous Quotes:

A woman has to be intelligent, have charm, a sense of humor, and be kind. It's the same qualities I require from a man.

Being an actress is a very physical thing. If I didn't look the way I looked, I would never have started in films.

I love vampire stories. That's why I did the movie. Women especially were taken with that movie-even more so when it came out on video.

I think anything that has to do with sexuality makes people very interested.
